This past month has been a whirlwind! But I am starting to realize, they often are. Such is the nature of juggling family, kids, pup, art, entrepreneurship and running one's own creative business!
I am just back from High Point Market and a visit to our showroom partner @Karen Saks in Charlotte, NC ... AND my daughter celebrated Homecoming and my son turned 13(!) ... but before I share favorite finds from High Point, I wanted to highlight another recent event:
This past month, I was *beyond thrilled* to celebrate the opening of the uber talented interior designer Erin Paige Pitts' new art gallery and boutique in Annapolis!!! Think: Hamptons meets Annapolis ... and you are at home! Your first clue? The view from the street - makes me want to pedal on down to the beach asap!

Below: a peek at some of the beautiful, coastal decor goodies found at Erin Paige Pitts Home:
Erin's new gallery is featured in the latest issue of Home & Design DC and her recognition is well deserved. Her interior design work is absolutely stunning, her coastal homes are to dream of owning one day ... and the best part? She is also one of the most fun, dynamic, energetic and welcoming people you will ever meet!
Fun fact: I "met" Erin via social media several years ago ... we became Instagram friends ... literally the first time I met her in person was when I came to Annapolis to deliver my latest series of new wood block paintings to her, for her new art gallery! Social media at its best!! Love it when it helps foster new work, creativity and collaborations that help make people's homes brighter and truly one of a kind.

If you're in / near Annapolis, be sure to stop in and visit Erin and her team at the new Erin Paige Pitts Home Gallery! @105A Annapolis Street, Annapolis, Maryland, 21401. You will love it and feel like you just stepped into your favorite beach home. Enjoy! And Thank You, Erin!! Am beyond thrilled to be one of the artists represented in your beautiful new venture and space.
Here is a peek at the new series of nine original wood block paintings we created in celebration of Erin's new gallery opening:
Here's a close up of Painting #9, inspired by a misty morning at the boardwalk in Cape Hatteras, North Carolina:
... and our new Coastal Painting #6, inspired by Lake Michigan and one of our favorite little coastal towns, Petoskey.
p.s. A shout out to these fellow artists whose work is also on display at Erin's new gallery ... their talents are to collect! Am honored to have my paintings alongside their work, including the magical, ethereal works of artist Kathlee from Atlanta; the absolutely stunning, large scale paintings by Baltimore's own Murray Taylor, and the stunning paintings (incorporating 24K gold leaf, no less!) by Hagerstown, MD artist @alliedattilio (sample pic, below). Enjoy!
