Spring has sprung! And we are thrilled to share our latest new textile, perfect for the season: Allium Love on Oyster Linen.
We have worked with this design in the past and printed it on a luxuriously soft,100% organic cotton knit for a baby's blanket, as well as wallpaper. Today, our new favorite application of this watercolor painting is on Oyster Linen. Soooo luxurious and organic! We love the natural fibers in this fabric and hope you do, too. The Linen makes the colors that much brighter -- and the textures extra rich.
This design was inspired by my dear friend Miranda's beautiful garden in Mount Kisco, NY. She has such a green thumb! When I visited her several years ago, the Alliums were in full bloom in her yard. They looked like giant dandelions - but even better, with their purply petals and large, pom pom-like flowers. I immediately had to paint them and envisioned them blooming across a yard of fabric.
