Lucketts Love: a Designer's Local Vintage Source

Have you been to Lucketts? If you're from the DC area, chances are you've heard of - or been! - to Lucketts. I have known of this place for years, and always love visiting and seeing what new finds it will turn up next.

Recently, Interior Designer and Principal of KPH Studio, Kelly Pitcairn Holland, and I had the pleasure of venturing out there for a day with our girls. While it was a cold and wintry day, the home decor and furniture finds did not disappoint! Below are a few pics and faves from our trip. (And by the way, Lucketts is the perfect mother/daughter outing, too! And I HIGHLY recommend the new Roots 657 cafe nearby for lunch ... soooo good!).

If you're looking for unique accents for your home, and one of a kind decor with a bit of patina, this is a 'go to' source. Enjoy, and happy scouting for your next fab vintage find!

P.s. Pro tip: AND if you're looking for a fun place to take your holiday family photos next year, think of Lucketts!! They have these sweet backdrops throughout the property ... perfect for taking photos! (I think there were at least *three* photo shoots going on while we were there! Lol). Happy Holidays!!

This mirror!! Spotted and photographed by Kelly @KPH Studios on the first floor of the main Lucketts general store. It may still be there ... such a find! So tempting to bring this one home!!

Did someone say color? Would be hard not to smile when you see these painted ladies hanging on the side of your garage ... spotted on the grounds at Lucketts.

Love this chair's simple, yet elegant design ... and a find at ... only $15! (p.s. It may still be there!! As tempted as we were, we did not bring this one home).

Above: This table!!! *Absolutely* love how this iconic, modern, tulip table base is paired with a beautiful and utilitarian, natural wood butcher block top. One of KPH Studio's clients is the lucky new owner for this sweet piece of furniture!
